The Advancement Office Welcomes a New Member

The Advancement Office is pleased to welcome its newest team member, Linda Foster, in the role of Advancement Officer – Major Donors.

Linda brings to Vancouver College over 10 years of nonprofit experience in fundraising major gifts for operational and capital campaigns, legacy giving, corporate partnerships and sponsorship, event planning, volunteer management, online peer-to-peer fundraising, and prospect research. She also has 20 years of marketing and sales experience in the corporate sector. Most recently, she was passionately generating revenue and advancing donor relationships at Covenant House Vancouver. When she isn't with her active 10 year old son, she is volunteering as the Chair of the Communications Committee and an Executive Roundtable Member for the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP) Greater Vancouver Chapter.

The Advancement team is working hard to ensure the school's current and future financial needs are met. It is responsible for coordinating funding priorities and currently, the Our Next Century campaign, which funds the redevelopment project, financial assistance program, and academic support, is of utmost priority. In addition, the Adcancement Office is responsible for external and internal communications, and maintaining the school's relationships with parents, alumni, and the Catholic and greater communities.

Ronith Cogswell and the Advancement Team are always happy to meet with the Vancouver College community to discuss the Our Next Century campaign and how you can help. If you are interested in more information, please contact Ronith or any member of the Advancement Team at onc@mail.vc.bc.ca
